Maggie Lyle Smith
Maggie Smith is a comedy writer & performer. She grew up moving around the world, but got her start in comedy in the Chicago improv scene. There, she performed for The Second City in scripted and unscripted shows, as well as the host of her own satirical late night show, “The News* with Maggie Smith.” Her writing has been featured in The Onion, Reductress, and McSweeney’s, and her sketches have been named Vulture’s Top Comedy Videos.
She currently hosts the comedy advice podcast Roommate Lovers with her fiancé, and performs with the Drunk Shakespeare Society.
